Is for operators with lots of previous operating experience and are defined as:-
Experienced with Expiring Certificates, where a one day refresher course for up to four operators is usually sufficient.
Experienced Uncertificated Operators. The course should run with three candidates over a two and half to three days, however this will depend on the actual real experience of the operators, we therefore suggest an assessment be made before booking a course as in the past the levels of experience are not adequate for one day tests, however, for IN HOUSE USE ONLY where low level stacking, or vehicle loading etc is the only use required we would do our best for completion on a one day course for up to three candidates.
Occasional Operators: Where operators use Fork Lift trucks on an occasional basis:REFRESHER TRAINING should be given at regular periods as per PROVISION AND USE OF WORK EQUIPMENT REGULATIONS 1998.
Conversion Training. Is for certificated operators who require certification to other truck groups, ie Counter Balance to Reach Truck etc, or to upgrade to a higher rated capacity truck, or electric to engine powered trucks etc.
